Network marketing is a relationship business and a numbers game like direct selling. Most marketers really have poor people skills and fail to consider that you are really never in business only for yourself. Yes, you are for yourself but first you must be a solution for others. Marketing on-line requires you to market your self so others want to join you not your “deal”.
Further, having uniform training and exceptional support are the basics and must be present. As in any profession, you must have the education or training. However, all the training materials that are being sold today essentially points us in that direction along with mailing prospecting packages, card decks and buying leads. How much training do we really need to run a system already made, tested and proven? Most MLMers won’t spend ten bucks for a training manual or even ten minutes reading it. Regardless of how much money you want to make as a network marketer, $1,000-$5,000, $10,000 or $25,000 a month the success you achieve in network marketing is directly determined by the training you and your down line receive. If you and your down line receive competent, effective and repetitive training and you apply what you learn from that training then it s virtually a guarantee that you will succeed in network marketing. But, if you and your down line have the misfortune to receive substandard, incompetent and ineffective training ( as do most network marketers) then it s virtually a guarantee that you and your down line will fail in this business regardless of how incredible your company is, or how hard and long your work, etc-training. Sadly, over 98% of all network marketers struggle and fail because they received incompetent and ineffective training and your previous failures are fault of the training you were given.
Network marketing is simple, but doing cold calls, learning SEO, understanding goggle adwords, how to write good content is just not the skill set the average network possesses.The fledgling network marketer’s perception of their business goes from one of opportunity to one of complete doubt and negativity. Reality follows perception, so because the fledgling network marketer believes both themselves and their business as having little hope this becomes TRUE. Additionally, hearing NO all the time leads to quite a bit of self doubt, both about the network marketers own ability and the validity of their association with their network marketing company. What does a perfect network marketing system look like. Unless you’re natural born confident sales leader going into your network marketing career you’ll probably have these same issues. Personal development requires that you have mentors as well as information. Many programs have “proven systems” that lack the human touch to get through the early disappointments and failures. Although some “proven systems” have forums that provide some personal growth, they cannot take the place a mentor .
