Why Personal Trainer in North York for Health

I want to keep this book as simple and honest as possible. I spent many years emptying my bank account on every sibo and candida treatment offered by every type of medical practitioner you could imagine. It’s safe to say that nothing ever worked. Quite honestly, pretty much everything I tried made me worse. Cookie cutter bandaid treatments just don’t cut it for those of us who are really sick and need something different. When you’re in this position, it feels like you’re living in limbo and there’s no help out there. You believe that you’re the lone wolf, that you’re the only one suffering while everyone else is getting better. When I was really sick and desperate, I needed some real alternatives and to take healing into my own hands. That required a great deal of trial and error on my part. And trust me when I tell you, there was definitely more error than anything when I was discovering what worked best to heal my body. Throughout this whole process I learned that sometimes the best form of treatment is stripping things down and having a simple plan. Fitness is very important with Busy Bee Fitness Experts.

I’ll start my book by telling you a few things that I am not before I tell you about myself and my own story. Personal Trainer North York is the crucial step to achieving this. First, I am not a medical professional. I’m just your regular average joe without a medical pedigree. Second, I am not a writer. And yes, as you can probably tell, I wrote this book myself. The reason why I’m writing this is because I suffered for a long time and when someone has suffered that long, survived it and is now thriving, I like to think they have something they can share that may be of benefit to others who are also suffering. I’ve also learned a lot over the years of literally working with thousands of clients through my fitness business and having my gut health podcast where I’ve been fortunate enough to host some of the worlds most prominent gut health experts.

I understand what it’s like to live with chronic illness and feel like you’re in a hopeless situation with nowhere to turn and no one to look to for support. I suffered terribly for the better part of two decades with digestive issues. I lived with chronic fatigue, acid reflux, bouts of extreme abdominal pain, kidney stones, restless legs syndrome and as the years went on, I developed severe chemical anxiety, brain fog, vision issues, eczema, allergies and more symptoms you could shake a stick at. The worst part of it is that for many of those years, I thought it was normal to live with those symptoms. There were many days where I thought for sure I was about to die and couldn’t get out of bed. I felt absolutely miserable! And what’s perhaps even worse than that is that my doctors would give me a prescription and tell me that there was nothing they could do to help me. Doctors don’t know much about this condition and alternative practitioners aren’t very adept at working with tough cases. Everything felt hopeless and I thought that I would have to live like that for the rest of my life.

They diagnosed me with so-called IBS or irritable bowel syndrome. I still don’t know what that means. Did my bowels wake up on the wrong side of the bed one day? My lack of understanding isn’t because I don’t understand the clinical presentation of IBS but it’s not exactly a diagnosis backed by a root cause or any scientific literature. It’s basically the medical communities way of throwing there hands up in the air and telling you there’s nothing they can do about it but give you some drugs to manage your symptoms. Doctors are great for treating acute medical issues, say if you were to have a heart attack or get run over by a car but most of them have no interest in reversing chronic disease or teaching preventative medicine to their patients. They give you a bandaid to mask your symptoms and basically tell your body to shut up while it’s crying out for help. Meanwhile, the root cause of the illness typically just festers and worsens with time.

Sadly, I can’t tell you how many doctors I have seen over the years. I saw every type of doctor you could imagine. If there was an “ist” on the end of it, I’ve seen one. Gastroenterologists, neurologists, urologists, neprologists and alternative practitioners like functional medicine doctors, homeopaths, naturopaths and so on. And while some of them were knowledgeable in their own right, they were never of any help to me. Furthermore, I cringe at the thought of looking back over my medical bills but it’s safe to say that it was in the tens of thousands. I went through all my savings and badly into debt trying to fix my health. When you’re in a state of desperation, there’s nothing you wouldn’t do or no amount of money you wouldn’t spend to get better. Many people I’ve talked to over the years are in the same boat. They also feel like they’re living in the wild west. They’re frustrated, they’ve given up hope and the only road left is to take their health into their own hands. The good thing is that you can take your health into your own hands and there is something you can do about it. There are potentially many things you can do to reverse, completely eliminate and prevent your health issues from reoccurring.

Hippocrates, also known as “the father of modern medicine” over 2000 years ago said that “all disease begins in the gut” and “let food be thy medicine”. Personal Trainer Toronto is another part of the business with exercise and fitness physiology. Personal training comes in waves. I truly believe this to be the case in the vast majority of health issues. The food we eat, the environment we live in and the practices of modern medicine are making us sick. The biggest lesson I learned throughout my illness is that the further we get away from nature and how we are intended to live, the sicker we get. The more we pollute our bodies with chemicals, processed foods, antibiotics, medications etc, the sicker we get. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule but I believe this to be true in the vast majority of cases.
